Most anything you buy at a store will find a home on the clearance isle sooner or later. If your planning a year or so in advance, this is the best time to buy. Micheal's Arts and Craft retail stores are well known for having huge post season sales on decor and floral. This could be particularly helpful for themed weddings! Get all of your red and/or heart shaped items during Valentine's Day. Or your winter wonderland centerpieces after Christmas. Wedding items also go on sale after the spring. Don't for get to use your 40% coupon on the non-sale items you happen to pick up.
I plan on checking for potential flower girl baskets at Easter sales.
